Greece’s Aegean Airlines is set to launch direct flights between Vilnius and Athens on Friday.
The Greek carrier will officially present its upcoming operations in Lithuania on Friday, Lietuvos Oro Uostai (Lithuanian Airports, LTOU) said.
The operator of Lithuania’s three international airports said in January that Aegean Airlines’ Airbus A320 aircraft would operate the Vilnius-Athens service twice per week until October.
The Greek airline offered 180 destinations in 49 countries in its network last year.
