Kaunas University of Technology’s Santaka Valley in Lithuania’s second-largest city of Kaunas will host the largest Baltic cyber defense and security innovation hackathon on October 20-22, the Lithuanian Riflemen’s Union said on Tuesday.
The event is being organized in cooperation with ScaleWolf, an international investment fund that invests in companies developing innovations in the field of defense and security, as well as Tech Park Kaunas, a Kaunas-based science and technology park.
The hackathon’s mentors will include more than 50 IT specialists and programmers as well as world-class warfare experts and lecturers from the prestigious SANS Institute of cyber security.
The hackathon open to individuals and teams who can propose their own solutions to cyber security challenges faced by the state.
