The Israeli airline Israir Airlines has announced flights from Vilnius to Tel Aviv. The flights are to be serviced at Vilnius Airport by the Litcargus passenger and aircraft ground maintenance company.
Litcargus announced on Friday that it would begin servicing of nonstop Vilinius-Tel Aviv-Vilnius flights on April 25. Flights will be offered twice a week on Mondays and Fridays.
Lithuania’s airport company Lithuanian Airports announced in January that Israir was planning non-stop flights from Vilnis to Tel Aviv, adding that the Israeli company had not done so before.
Lithuanian Airports says that Israir Airlines will offer flights to Tel Aviv only during the summer season. Wizz Air and Ryanair also offer flights from Lithuania to the Israeli city.
Litcargus provides ground handling services to Lufthansa, airBaltic, SAS, Norwegian, Austrian, Brussels Airlines, GetJet Airlines, LOT, Wizz Air and other airlines at airports in Vilnius and Kaunas.
