Parking fine in Tallinn to rise to EUR 80

Due to amendments to the Road Traffic Act, penalties for incorrect parking will rise in Tallinn from July 9, the municipal police said on Monday.

Parking a vehicle in a place where parking is prohibited or in violation of the arrangement of parking prescribed by a traffic control device will be punishable by a fine of 40 euros.

If the vehicle is parked in such a way that it constitutes a hazard to other road users or significantly disturbs traffic, the amount of the fine will be 80 euros.
