The Irish no-frills airline Ryanair has announced that at he end of October, it will start operating seven flights a week from the Lithuanian seaside resort of Palanga to London, as against five flights at this time. This was reported on Friday by Lithuanian Airports, the airport operator in Lithuania.
During the winter season, flights from Palanga to Stansted Airport will be offered on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, twice on Saturdays, and Sundays.
Lithuanian Airports says that passenger traffic at the Palanga airport rose by nearly one-fourth in 204 to 3780,000, which was one of the main reasons for the increase in flight frequencies.
Five weekly flights are offered along the route during last year’s winter season.
The winter flight season will last from the end of October until the end of March 2026.
