Latvian star Kristaps Porziņģis delivered a strong all-around performance as the Golden State Warriors defeated the Los Angeles Clippers 126–121 in the NBA Play-In Tournament, keeping their postseason hopes alive.
According to official NBA game data, Golden State relied on a dominant second-half push, led by Stephen Curry, who finished with 35 points and seven three-pointers.
Porzingis added 20 points, five rebounds and five assists, while also contributing defensively with two blocks. The Latvian big man was highly efficient, shooting 7-of-9 from inside the arc and hitting two three-pointers, providing crucial balance alongside Curry’s scoring.
The Clippers started stronger and led after the first quarter, before the Warriors responded in the second period. Despite trailing at halftime, Golden State gradually took control in the second half, with improved ball movement and perimeter shooting.
The game remained tight in the fourth quarter, but the Warriors executed better down the stretch, securing a five-point victory in a high-pressure elimination scenario.
With the victory over the Clippers, Golden State now advances to face the Suns in its next play-in matchup as Porzingis’ season continues.
