From Tuesday to Friday, the public is invited to visit the largest green technology exhibition in Estonian history, NEXPO Tallinn.
In this sustainability-focused exhibition, nearly 80 exhibitors from various countries will showcase ambitious future solutions and top achievements in green innovation.
Mayor of Tallinn Mihhail Kolvart highlighted that NEXPO Tallinn is one of the most significant events of Tallinn’s European Green Capital year, bringing to Estonia the latest and most innovative green technologies from around the world.
“Sharing best practices and bold ideas among green technology experts, entrepreneurs, and scientists fosters collaboration, which is crucial in building a more sustainable future,” Kolvart noted.
He added that countries worldwide are seeking ways to reduce their environmental footprint, make transportation and energy infrastructure more sustainable, and promote green urban spaces.
“Therefore, this exhibition is a great place to gather inspiration and identify solutions that could be implemented in Estonia in the future,” Kolvart said.
One goal of the exhibition is to raise Estonians’ awareness of green technologies and demonstrate how they will influence everyday life in the future. Many solutions, once considered science fiction, have now become reality, and green innovation is gaining momentum globally.
NEXPO Tallinn is part of the Greentech Week series of events. Other events taking place in Tallinn the same week include the GreenEST Summit, Cleantech Forum Europe, Smart Cities Convention, Green Governance Conference, and the Balanced Economy Forum.
