The EuroBasket group stage concluded with mixed outcomes for the Baltic teams. Lithuania advanced from Group B with a strong 4-1 record, finishing second behind Germany and earning a spot in the Round of 16, where they will face fellow Baltic team Latvia in a heated Baltic showdown this Saturday.
Sadly, Estonia did not make it through. Their final group match was against Portugal, who beat them in a direct battle for the final qualifying spot from Group A. As a result, Estonia finished with a 1-4 record, placing 5th in their group and exiting the tournament.
