The European Central Bank (ECB) decided on Thursday to keep interest rates unchanged.

At its meeting in Frankfurt, the ECB Governing Council left the deposit facility rate at 2 percent, the main refinancing operations rate at 2.15 percent, and the marginal lending facility rate at 2.4 percent.

These rates have been in effect since June 11.
