Polish precision engineering company Masterform is expanding its production of high-precision components used in vacuum pumps, infusion pumps, and other medical devices. In addition to serving the domestic market, the company’s key customers include medical technology manufacturers in Germany and Switzerland.

Part of the Mangata Holding Group, Masterform specializes in precision CNC machining of metals, producing everything from individual parts to complex industrial components. The company works with stainless steel, bronze, brass, aluminium, cast iron and graphite, while also offering electrical discharge machining (EDM) and processing advanced engineering plastics such as PEEK and PTFE.

“Our greatest competitive advantage is the combination of extremely precise machining, strong engineering expertise, and the ability to deliver demanding projects for industries with the highest quality standards,” said Ewa Pisarek, Member of the Management Board and Chief Financial Officer of Masterform.

Diversification beyond the automotive industry

Although Masterform has traditionally been associated with the automotive industry, the company is actively expanding into new high-value sectors.

“The market is evolving rapidly and requires companies to remain highly flexible in the industries and projects they serve. Masterform is well prepared for this challenge. We continue to strengthen our presence in sectors that require advanced precision manufacturing. Alongside automotive, medical technology, laboratory equipment, industrial automation, electronics, and other advanced technology industries are becoming increasingly important for us,” said Robert Rogowski, Managing Director of Masterform.

He emphasized that the company’s diversification strategy is driven by the demanding requirements of the medical sector.

“In medical manufacturing, there is no room for compromise. Quality, delivery reliability and flexibility are essential. At the same time, industrial projects, including automotive and other manufacturing sectors, remain the foundation of our business. They provide stable revenues that enable us to continue investing in long-term medical projects,” Rogowski added.

Growing opportunities in the medical device industry

Masterform manufactures precision components for applications including infusion pumps, dialysis equipment and other medical technologies. The Polish medical device industry currently comprises approximately 300 manufacturing facilities, alongside a growing number of innovative start-ups. The domestic market is estimated to be worth more than PLN 17.5 billion.

Industry studies indicate that demographic changes and ageing populations will continue to drive demand for medical devices worldwide. This includes growing demand for personalized healthcare solutions designed to meet individual patient needs, as well as medical devices intended for home-based care rather than hospital settings. As societies become wealthier, demand for advanced home healthcare solutions is expected to continue increasing.

Poland is also an important exporter of medical devices. The country’s largest export markets include Germany, the United States, France, the United Kingdom and Denmark. Since the outbreak of the full-scale war in Ukraine, exports of disposable medical products to Ukraine have also increased.

Long-term strategy supported by investment

“We want to become a key partner for the medical industry by supplying a wide range of precision components. Whenever possible, we not only manufacture the required parts but also advise customers on selecting the most appropriate materials for their applications. In recent years, we have made significant investments in expanding our machinery park, and these investments are now translating into new contracts,” said Ewa Pisarek.

She added that Masterform benefits from the stability of being part of Mangata Holding while maintaining the flexibility and specialization of a company focused on precision CNC machining.

“This combination is particularly valuable at a time when customers expect not only outstanding quality but also secure and reliable supply chains. Our goal is to transform demanding engineering requirements into stable, efficient and repeatable production processes,” Pisarek concluded.
