An Estonian lottery player won a prize of 464,247 euros in Friday’s Eurojackpot draw with a ticket purchased online.

There were a total of four winners at the 5+1 hit level. Also the jackpot of nearly 31 million euros was won on Friday, shared between a Swedish and a German player.

The last time a major Eurojackpot win came to Estonia was just before Christmas, when a man from Harju County won 140,174 euros with a 5+0 hit.

Last year, state-owned lottery company Eesti Loto paid 15.5 million euros in gambling tax to the state and paid out 40.4 million euros in winnings.
