Iute Group, a digital banking group operating in Southeast Europe, increased total revenue by 13% year-on-year to EUR 32.5 million in the first quarter of 2026. The Group’s net profit amounted to EUR 2.6 million.
“Q1 2026 was a positively challenging quarter for the Group. We continued balancing profitability with investments into technology, automation and geographic expansion while further strengthening the core drivers of Iute’s long-term growth flywheel. Revenue growth, improving credit quality and stronger operational efficiency demonstrate that our strategy is delivering tangible results. At the same time, we continued building the foundation for scalable digital banking services and the further expansion of the My Iute SuperApp ecosystem across our markets,” said Tarmo Sild, CEO of Iute Group.
According to Sild, investments into data science, automation and personalised customer offers are increasingly improving both operational efficiency and customer quality. “We are evolving into a digital bank centred around a financial SuperApp. We see customers increasingly using different services within one ecosystem, creating a strong foundation for long-term growth,” added Sild.
The share of Iute Group’s newer business lines continued to grow. Insurance brokerage revenue increased by 71.4% year-on-year and accounted for 5.6% of the Group’s total revenue. The MyIute SuperApp has now been downloaded more than 1.75 million times, supporting Iute’s role as the digital bank powered by a SuperApp for everyday financial life.
Iute also continued accelerating digitalisation and automation. During the quarter, the company deployed its first AI-powered sales assistants in Albania to support loan and insurance offers. Today, 70% of after-sales offers are generated automatically without human intervention, while the share of fully automated loans increased to 35.9%.
As of the end of March, Iute had 247,383 active customers. More than 101 thousand customers used payment services and nearly 58.5 thousand customers held at least one active insurance policy.
During the first quarter, the National Bank of Ukraine approved IuteBank to operate independently. The company is preparing to launch a fully digital retail bank in Ukraine in the first quarter of 2027.
