EUR 452,189 was collected during this year’s annual radio charity marathon Give Me Five!, LETA was told by Latvian Radio spokeswoman Liene Palena.
This year donations were collected to support at-risk children and youths.
President Edgars Rinkevics was the final guest of the radio marathon last night, who let out DJ Toms Grevins, who had been inside the glass studio playing music in exchange for donations since December 15.
The radio charity marathon Give Me Five! is in its 10th year. Give Me Five! is organized by Latvian Radio in close cooperation with Latvian Television, public media portal Lsm.lv and Ziedot.lv.
