From August 15th to 17th, the Dzintari Concert Hall will host the series of the spectacular events: four unique concerts featuring Latvian and foreign stars, the first-ever Baltic Awards ceremony, a red carpet and elegant guests from around the world. The initiator and organizer of the project is the Inessa Galante Foundation.

On August 15th, in the Dzintari Concert Hall, in honor of the opening of the Baltic Awards project, an unforgettable concert “Oscar” Night / Film. Music. Orchestra.” will take place. Famous works from the Oscar-winning films, as well as the popular melodies from the legendary and beloved films, will be performed by the musicians of the Latvian National Symphony Orchestra under the baton of the renowned conductor Anthony Gabriele (Great Britain). The guests of the evening will spend a truly unforgettable summer evening in the legendary Dzintari Hall on the shore of the Baltic Riviera – Jurmala. They will recall fragments from their favorite films, watch film excerpts on big screens and enjoy the sound of the orchestra under the baton of the famous conductor. The evening will begin with the opening of the First Baltic Awards – award nominees, musicians, artists, as well as numerous invited guests of honor from all over the world will walk along the red carpet.
On 16th August, the concert program will feature a number of Latvian and foreign stars: the bright performer Lance Ellington from Great Britain, the virtuoso multi-instrumentalist Marius Preda from the Netherlands with his charismatic sons – Preda & Sons, the a popular Latvian band DAGAMBA, the brilliant pianist Andrejs Osokins, the expressive vocalist from Estonia, the owner of the widest vocal range Elina Nechaeva, the soloist of the Latvian National Opera Artjom Safronov and the opera diva Inessa Galante. The orchestra will be led by renowned conductor Eckhart Wycik (Germany). The First Baltic Awards ceremony will also take place that evening. The awards will be presented to the outstanding personalities from Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia for their contribution to the development of art, science and architecture, underlining the importance of the region in the European context. Guests of the evening will enjoy an unforgettable, vibrant evening filled with musical surprises.

On August 17th, at 18:00 in the Small Hall of the Dzintari Concert Hall, a concert with the participation of the brightest talents will be held, winners of the Inessa Galante Talents competition. The “Young and Bright” concert is a tradition created by the Inessa Galante Foundation in 2023 with the aim of presenting to the general public young, talented artists who perform classical music at the level of world-famous musicians and soloists. This summer’s concert will feature Brigita Reisone (soprano), Rinalds Rosenlauks (oboe) and Elina Agneta Lamberte (kokle). The founder of the Foundation and president of the jury of the talent contest, the opera diva Inessa Galante, will introduce the young talents. The program will feature a brilliant kaleidoscope of musical compositions, including the most popular and “immortal” works. Public support is extremely important for young performers; therefore, the organizers and participants invite Latvians and spectators from other countries to take part in this beautiful event. The spectators will have the opportunity to be proud of our country’s creative potential and spend an unforgettable summer evening enjoying the talented performance of beautiful musical works.
On August 17 at 20:00, in the Dzintari Concert Hall the final concert “GALA GALANTE AND THE THREE TENORS” will take place. The unique musical program “Una fiesta de la musica” will feature three world-famous tenors – Edgaras Montvydas (Lithuania), Liparit Avetisyan (Armenia) and Raimonds Bramanis (Latvia). Listeners will be treated to a brilliant performance of arias from the famous operas Aida, Nabucco, Tosca, Carmen and La Traviata. In addition, popular Italian songs (canzones), and beautiful Neapolitan melodies will be performed from the stage, which will transport everyone to the atmosphere of fabulous Italy. The special guest of the evening will be Inessa Galante, an opera diva with a soulful, velvety soprano voice, other musical surprises are expected as well. The orchestra will be led by conductor Ekhart Wycik.

“Baltic Awards” is a new project of the “Inessa Galante Foundation” in cooperation with public and educational institutions, professional associations and diplomatic missions of the three Baltic countries – Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. The award will be presented to outstanding figures of the Baltic countries for their contribution to the development of art, science and architecture, highlighting the importance of the region in the European context. The award will become a bright, large-scale and significant international event, which will be held annually in Riga and Jurmala, in the Dzintari concert hall for several days.
