The average old-age pension for Latvia’s 434,493 pensioners was €624.85 in June this year, according to data compiled by the State Social Insurance Agency.
The highest average pension in June was recorded in Mārupe Municipality at €780.89, while the lowest was in Rēzekne Municipality at €515.31.
In June, 261,323 pensioners received more than €500, 86,976 received between €400 and €500, 31,200 between €300 and €400, 44,001 between €200 and €300, and 10,924 pensioners had a pension of less than €200.
