Elita Kuzma will become the next Ambassador of Latvia to the US, according to information provided by the Chancery of the President of Latvia.
She will replace Maris Selga, who has been in the post since the summer of 2019.
Kuzma’s accreditation is scheduled for Thursday at the Riga Castle.
On February 21 this year, Kuzma took up her duties as the Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
President Edgars Rinkevics is also expected to present letters of accreditation today to Atis Lota, the new Latvian Ambassador to the UK, and Vilmars Henins, the new Latvian Ambassador to the Czech Republic.
