Estonia’s Ministry of Regional Affairs and Agriculture has launched a public auction to sell 100 percent of Eesti Post, which operates under the Omniva brand, with a starting price of €52 million and a bid deadline of November 27.
The state-owned company provides services across all three Baltic states and operates an international logistics network spanning more than ten countries, while its sales revenue reached €155 million in 2025.
The sale follows an Estonian government decision of April 6 approving the disposal of the state’s entire stake in Eesti Post through a public auction.
Minister of Regional Affairs and Agriculture Hendrik Johannes Terras said the move would reduce the state’s business and investment risks while creating better conditions for the company to attract investment, improve service quality and strengthen its competitiveness.
The government says letter delivery and home delivery of periodicals will remain guaranteed after the ownership change, as universal postal service requirements and related obligations are established by Estonia’s Postal Act.
