The BDO ‘’Young Artists Award’’ is an initiative of BDO Latvia, organised in cooperation with the Art Academy of Latvia, KIM? Contemporary Arts Centre, and Experimental Art Space PILOT. The competition aims to promote the recognition, evaluation, and professional growth of emerging new artists, while contributing to the development of contemporary art within Latvian society and culture, particularly by supporting young artists after completing their master’s studies at the Art Academy of Latvia.

Now in its sixth consecutive year, the competition continues to highlight emerging young talents. Last year’s winner was artist Elza Lapiņa with her artwork ‘’Landscapes of Time’’.
