Sweden’s Pax2pay launches operations in Vilnius

Pax2pay, a Swedish digital payments company, has set up its business in Lithuania.

According to the Center of Registers, the company was established in Vilnius on July 26 and is headed by Finnish citizen Paivo Paavali Eerola, who is also the CEO of Sweden’s Pax2pay.

On its website, the Swedish Pax2pay states that it provides virtual card issuance, bill creation and payment and bank transfer services.

“We provide a complete digital payments solution that includes bank transfers, invoice payments, accounts creation and more,” Sweden’s Pax2pay said.

It lists TUI Group, Instant travel, Love holidays, Simpson travel, JetSet Group, Directline Flights, Uvet Group, Thomas Cook and others as partners.

Pax2pay also announced the opening of its office in Vilnius on Travolution.com and stated on July 18 that the new office would be led by Torsten Gros.

“Gros’ hire is part of its expansion strategy which coincides with the opening of its new office in Vilnius, Lithuania, so it can grow its presence across the European Economic Area,” the company said.

The articles of association of Pax2pay’s company in Lithuania state that its authorized capital is 1,000 euros.
