Mobilly, a payment solution with more than a million users, will start operating in Estonia this summer – it will be possible to pay with the Mobilly app at all Snabb parking lots across Estonia.
Estonian parking company Snabb expanded into the Latvian market at the beginning of April and started cooperation with the local mobile application Mobilly to offer drivers more convenient and accessible parking options. As a result of the cooperation, the Mobilly application can now be used for payment in five different Snabb parking lots located in the center of Riga. In addition, the cooperation will expand to Estonia from the summer of 2025, which means that in all parking lots managed by Snabb it is also possible to pay with the Mobilly application, which is widely used among Latvians.
“Mobilly is a well-known and trusted player in Latvia and has a large user base. Therefore, it was a natural step to add Mobilly payment options to our parking lots in both Latvia and Estonia. Especially during the summer season, when many Latvians visit Parnu or other Estonian cities, it will make their travel much more convenient,” Snabb CEO Kustas Koiv said.
Mobilly is one of the most popular mobile payment platforms in Latvia, used to pay for everyday services, including parking. The collaboration with Snabb will expand the availability of the parking service in both countries and contribute to the development of smarter and smoother urban mobility.
“We are pleased that a new, innovative and customer-centric parking company has entered Latvia. As a result of the joint cooperation, Mobilly customers can also pay for parking easily and quickly in Estonia, and the new Snabb parking lots in Latvia will be even more accessible to customers,” Mobilly CEO Girts Slavins said.
Snabb launched its operations in Latvia on April 1, introducing a digital number plate recognition parking solution that focuses on ease of use and efficiency. Snabb manages all Linstow Baltic parking lots in Latvia, including Origo shopping center, Origo One business center, Radisson Blu Latvija Conference & Spa Hotel and Radisson Blu Elizabete Hotel, SPORTA 2 quarter and Lastadijas quarter.
Mobilly is a mobile application created in Latvia in 2003 and has over a million users. In addition to paying for parking, the application also allows the user to pay for electric car charging, Jurmala entrance fees, taxi services, train and bus tickets, and Riga public transport tickets. It is also possible to top up money on a calling card and make donations.
