Estonian president appoints new ambassadors

Estonian President Alar Karis has appointed new ambassadors to Bahrain, Turkmenistan, Vanuatu and Lithuania.

Maria Belovas will be Estonia’s envoy in Bahrain, and she will reside in Abu Dhabi.  Jaan Reinhold was the former ambassador.

Karis appointed Jaap Ora as Estonia’s ambassador to Turkmenistan.  He will be based in Astana in Kazakhstan.  The president recalled Toomas Tirs, who previously held the position.

Jaan Reinhold is Estonia’s new top diplomat to the Republic of Vanuatu, basing his work in Canberra, Australia.  Kersti Eesmaa was the previous ambassador.

Kaili Terras, in turn, will become Estonia’s ambassador to Lithuania, and she will be based in Vilnius.
