Estonia: NEXPO Tallinn to focus on urban transport

NEXPO Tallinn, the largest exhibition of green technologies in Estonia to date, will take place as part of Greentech Week on Nov. 13-17.

The focus of European green innovation is on urban transport solutions. In addition, visitors can familiarize themselves with developments in the field of energy and materials, for example. NEXPO Tallinn brings together companies, nearly 500 investors, internationally acclaimed visionaries and top scientists from around the world.

Speakers participating in Greentech Week and its sub-events NEXPO Tallinn, GreenEST Summit, Cleantech Forum Europe, Smart Cities Convention, Green Governance Conference and Balanced Economy Forum include, for example, American writer and urbanist, former head of Nokia’s design department and author of the bestseller “Against Smart City” Adam Greenfield as well as Belgian entrepreneur, author, lecturer, innovator and developer of the blue economy business model Gunter Pauli and Norwegian artificial intelligence expert and advocate for data-driven technologies Elin Hauge.

Also attending are professor Walter Leal, whose main research topics are climate change and sustainable development, researcher Max Harris, whose book “New Zealand Project” describes an ambitious plan on how to change the governance of the state of New Zealand in such a way that the economy works, nature is preserved and people are happy.

The NEXPO Tallinn exhibition area, which will be dedicated to a more sustainable future, will feature nearly 80 exhibitors who will showcase innovative products and services that will influence the urban space of the future, help create a more human and environmentally friendly living environment, reshape economic sectors and lead towards a greener future.

Companies from Estonia and neighboring countries, but also from, for example, Italy, Germany and South Korea will be taking part in the exhibition.
