At an extraordinary meeting on Saturday, the general assembly of the Estonia 200 party, a junior partner in the government coalition, elected Kristina Kallas as the party’s leader, with 172 members participating in the vote supporting her.
Another candidate for the position, Hendrik Johannes Terras, received 57 votes.
A total of 231 ballots were distributed, 230 were cast, and one was spoiled.
As of Saturday morning, the party has 801 members.
