Due to the current security situation in the Middle East, the Latvian airline airBaltic announces that it will cancel all scheduled flights to and from Dubai (United Arab Emirates) until the end of October 2026.

To minimize the impact of this situation on customers’ travel plans, airBaltic is offering passengers the opportunity to choose an alternative flight free of charge to any of its more than 80 destinations, including popular sunny locations such as Antalya (Turkey), Corfu (Greece), Crete (Greece), Lisbon (Portugal), Malta (Malta), Naples (Italy), Nice (France), Rhodes (Greece), and Split (Croatia), and many more. This provides the flexibility to adjust their journey at no extra cost, allowing them to continue their travels or explore new destinations with ease. A complete schedule of airBaltic flights and tickets are available on the company’s homepage at www.airbaltic.com.

Mantas Vrubliauskas, Vice President Network Management of airBaltic“While Dubai has been a very popular destination in our network, the current security situation requires careful and responsible decisions. Our priority is to provide passengers with reliable travel options so they can continue their journeys by choosing alternative attractive destinations within the airBaltic network this summer. We hope our customers will enjoy their travels with peace of mind, and as soon as the situation allows, we look forward to resuming flights to Dubai.”

Furthermore, the aircraft originally scheduled for Dubai flights has been reallocated to other popular destinations in Spain and Cyprus, providing customers with even more travel options to choose from when travelling from the Baltic States.

The airline has added additional flights to the following destinations.

·       Alicante (Spain): from 23 April to 27 August

·       Larnaca (Cyprus): from 2 May to 17 October

·       Barcelona (Spain): from 18 April to 29 August

·       Madrid (Spain): from 4 May to 31 August

·       Tenerife (Canary Islands, Spain): from 2 September to 23 October

Passengers who have already booked flights to or from Dubai until the end of October 2026 and wish to make changes to their reservations to any different airBaltic destination are invited to contact the airBaltic Call Centre at telephone +371 67280422 or by e-mail bt@airbaltic.com

To ensure more efficient support, we kindly encourage passengers whose departure was scheduled in the near future – March, April, and May – to contact us first.

Due to the increased volume of enquiries, response times at the airBaltic Call Centre may be longer than usual, and we appreciate your patience and understanding.
