The Latvian postal company Latvijas Pasts has announced that on February 27, it will open a new customer service centre at the Saga shopping centre, and a new stamp and envelope dedicated to the animated film “Flow” will be on offer, the LETA News Agency has learned.
The event will start at noon at the shopping mall which is in Bikeru Street in the Ulbroka neighbourhood of Riga.
The stamp and the envelope were designed by “Flow” director Gints Zilbalodis and 3D animation artist Peteris Tenisons.
The event will be attended by Tenisons, as well as by Latvijas Pasts CEO Girts Rudzitis.
“Flow” debuted at the Cannes Film Festival last year and has been honoured with dozens of international awards. It is the first film from Latvia to win a Golden Globe, and it was also given an European Film Academy Award. “Flow” has also been nominated in two categories at the American Academy Awards.
