On Thursday morning, websites of Latvian state institutions were hit by a massive distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attack, the Latvian State Radio and Television Centre (LVRTC) informed LETA.
As a result, disruptions were observed in the operation of the State Revenue Service’s website (vid.gov.lv), the national portal (Latvija.lv), the Cabinet of Ministers’ website (mk.gov.lv), as well as the websites of ministries, local governments, and other state institutions.
The eParaksts.lv website is also inaccessible to users.
LVRTC is working to investigate and mitigate the attack.
