Mantinga is a Lithuanian producer of breads, snacks and frozen products, and it has opened a branch in Poland. Mantinga hopes to become one of the main suppliers of frozen bakery products and to strengthen its position in international markets, the company said on Friday.

“We aim to become one of the main suppliers of frozen bakery products in the Polish market to major supermarket chains, petrol stations, as well as the hotel, restaurant and café sector,” Mantinga Group CEO Mantas Agentas said in a statement.

Mantinga exports to Poland represented around 8% of total exports last year, but the CEO of the Polish branch, Jurata Cibulska, says that the aim is to boost that to 10%.  In future, she added, there are plans to open an office in Warsaw.

Mantinga has more than 40 destinations for exports in Scandinavia, Japan and South Korea.

Owned by a single individual, the Mantinga Group earned EUR 173.8 million in revenues in 2023, which was a 25.9% increase over EUR 138 million in the previous year. Consolidated EBITDA doubled to EUR 22 million, up from EUR 10.8 million.
