Poland-Armenia Business Forum. The beginning of a new chapter of cooperation

Openness, Cooperation, and a Shared Vision for Development. The Poland-Armenia Business Forum in Warsaw demonstrated that both countries are natural partners with enormous potential. The event was opened by Michał Baranowski, Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Development and Technology, Anushik Avetyan, Deputy Minister of Economy of Armenia, Gohar Abajyan, President of Enterprise Armenia, and Andrzej Dycha, President of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH). In their speeches, they unanimously emphasized that Armenia’s current impressive economic growth and ongoing reforms, as well as Poland’s resilience to disruption and the innovative nature of Polish companies, make this an ideal time to strengthen cooperation in key sectors.

In recent years, Armenia has been implementing a number of reforms aimed at building a modern, open, and innovative economy. The country boasts a rich and diverse startup base, which provides an excellent incentive for Polish partners seeking to develop their businesses in the Caucasus and Central Asia.

Forum participants learned about business development opportunities in Armenia, presented by Anna Davtyan from Enterprise Armenia. Mateusz Zawistowski, Chairman of the AMX Supervisory Board, discussed details of cooperation between the Warsaw Stock Exchange and the AMX Stock Exchange in Armenia, including investment opportunities. The event also included a panel discussion on the practical aspects of bilateral economic cooperation, moderated by Mikołaj Tauber from the Polish Investment and Trade Agency’s Export Support Department.

The Forum also featured B2B sessions, during which dozens of Polish and Armenian companies discussed specific initiatives and areas for developing cooperation.
