Venipak records a record first half: revenue grows to EUR 48 million

Logistics company Venipak, which, as recently announced, is becoming part of DHL eCommerce within the DHL Group, generated EUR 48 million in revenue across the Baltic States in the first half of this year, 16% more than in the same period last year. The fastest revenue growth (20%) was recorded in Lithuania. The number of parcels delivered across all three Baltic countries increased by around 9% to 7.134 million parcels.

The company’s results were driven mainly by the expanded parcel locker network, increased international e-commerce volumes, particularly shipments from China, and a more favourable consumer environment in Lithuania.

Parcel locker volumes grew, as did shipments from China

“In the first half of this year, we achieved record revenue results. This was driven by increased parcel volumes from international e-commerce stores, particularly China, as consumers rushed to order goods before the EUR 3 fee for low-value parcels came into effect in July. Domestic consumption in Lithuania received an additional boost from the second-pillar pension reform, which led to parcel volumes in the country increasing by almost one-tenth in the second quarter of this year,” says Andrius Ladauskas, CEO at Venipak.

According to him, the continued rapid growth of the parcel locker segment had a significant impact on the increase in revenue and the number of parcels delivered. The number of parcels delivered to parcel lockers in the first half of this year was 15% higher than during the same period in 2025.

“Although we forecast that the share of parcels delivered to parcel lockers would increase, we can see that this segment is growing faster every year. This reflects changing recipient habits: more and more people choose to collect their parcels at a time that is convenient for them. In response, we are continuously expanding our parcel locker network and increasing the capacity of existing lockers: in the busiest locations, we install additional modules and increase the number of compartments,” says A. Ladauskas.

Currently, Venipak operates a network of around 1,000 parcel lockers across the Baltic States, of which 800 are owned by the company and around 200 are installed in cooperation with the parcel locker sharing network uDrop.

The preparations launched at the end of last year helped the company smoothly manage the increased parcel volumes.

“We increased terminal capacity, invested in new conveyors and other sorting equipment, and strengthened our sorting teams. This enabled us to implement the most important changes already in the first half of 2026. At the same time, we flexibly redistributed terminal and courier resources, monitored route loads and expanded the capacity of the most popular parcel lockers. These solutions allowed us to manage growing parcel volumes efficiently and systematically,” A. Ladauskas emphasises.

Forecasting further growth

The company also started the second half of the year positively.

“In July, we continued to feel the effect of the pension reform – parcel volumes grew faster than during the same period last year. At the end of summer and beginning of autumn, additional growth should be driven by the back-to-school season, while traditionally we expect the highest activity in the fourth quarter, when parcel volumes increase due to Black Friday and pre-Christmas shopping,” says A. Ladauskas.

However, according to him, the first signs of a slowdown in parcel flows from China are already visible, related to the EUR 3 fee for low-value parcels from non-EU countries that came into effect on July 1. This could lead to a short-term decline in this segment. In the longer term, the new regulation may encourage e-commerce platforms to use European warehouses or consolidated delivery models more frequently, which could change not only parcel volumes but also their structure and routes.

Despite potential short-term fluctuations, overall parcel volumes are expected to continue growing in the second half of the year, although the pace may differ across individual Baltic countries and segments.

Venipak Group revenue amounted to EUR 85.6 million in 2025, while EBITDA reached EUR 12.4 million.
