Exhibition of design, natural cosmetics opens at Estonian Business Hub in South Korea

In South Korea, an exhibition of Estonian design and natural cosmetics was opened at the Estonian Business Hub in Seoul on Monday.

Estonian Ambassador to Korea Sten Schwede said in his opening speech that Estonian products have good potential in Korea because Koreans appreciate unique design and quality products with special features. It is important to find the right Korean companies who can market these goods locally.

The exhibition features design companies such as Woolish, Reet Aus, Urbsill, Maria Rasta Design, Lucky Laika, Mirgoods, Radis Furniture, Koosdisain, Sutu, and Ubent. In the field of natural cosmetics, the exhibition includes Viking Beauty Secrets, Aesti, D’difference, Hoia homespa, Magrada, Nurme, Fresmy, and North Beauty.

“In South Korea, Estonian commitment to preserving and maintaining our clean nature, as well as the minimalist language of our Nordic design, is appreciated. In addition to aesthetics, Estonian design often reflects our cultural heritage and traditions,” Eva Leemet, CEO of Creative Estonia, said.

The purpose of the installations exhibited in business centers is to increase awareness among local businesses and public sector representatives about products and services with export potential. The aim of the design and organic products installation is to introduce Estonian design and organic economy products and services through the best examples and success stories, including showcasing the export potential of these products and services in the target market.

The exhibition idea was initiated by the Foreign Ministry and funded by the European Union’s NextGenerationEU recovery fund. The exhibition will remain open until the end of the year.
