Alias Robotics is a Spanish company specialising in AI-driven protection of mission-critical IT, OT, IoT and robotic systems. Alias Robotics was recently selected for Mission Track – a critical step in NATO DIANA’s acceleration programme which aims to turn innovative technologies into operational capabilities for NATO. In this blog post, we spoke with the Alias Robotics team to learn more about their solution:
What does your company do and what is the solution you applied to DIANA with?
“Alias Robotics is a cybersecurity company headquartered in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain. We develop end-to-end AI solutions for cybersecurity in the most demanding environments, including defence.”
What problem does your solution solve?
“Our solution automates cybersecurity tasks and augments human operator capabilities, from offensive activities to defensive operations and incident response.”
How did the company get started?
“Our company has automation in its DNA, born out of a successful robotics and automation exit. Guided by our vision and mission, we have pioneered the use of modern generative AI and its application to automate and accelerate cybersecurity operations.”
Was your company already positioned as a dual-use company before DIANA? Why did you decide to apply to the programme?
“Alias Robotics is proudly serving more than 100 civilian entities and use cases in critical, essential and important sectors. We perceived defence as a potential market for us but did not have a defence footprint before joining DIANA. With its support we have powered a successful go-to-market in defence, achieving high visibility and impact, serving several MoDs, Prime contractors and defence bodies.”
How does your tech differ from competitors?
“Our end-to-end value proposition delivers the full stack for AI in cybersecurity. From the models that think and the scaffold/harness control plane, to the agents that execute, integrated in the client premises.
We can deploy on-premises end-to-end, adapting to and serving the most demanding use cases to save significant time and effort. This is why our clients love us.”
To date, what has been your biggest success or milestone since starting the DIANA programme? How did participation in DIANA’s programme help make this possible?
“DIANA has powered our successful introduction to the wider defence market. It has been instrumental in helping us understand market dynamics and peculiarities through diverse support mechanisms, ranging from broad exposure at defence events to tailored one-to-one mentorship.”
What is next on the horizon for your company or is there another milestone in the future you are excited about?
“In 2026, our technology participated in NATO Locked Shields, the world’s largest live-fire cyber exercise. Our solution performed exceptionally, demonstrating how blue team productivity can be boosted by accelerating the OODA loop up to 10x and achieving unprecedented speed in forensic operations. We look forward to the 2027 edition!”
