Latvijas Banka has issued an authorisation to provide crypto-asset services to the investment firm AS TWINO Investments in accordance with the requirements established in the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA).
As of 4 June 2026, AS TWINO Investments is authorised, on the basis of its investment firm licence, to provide the following services under the MiCA Regulation:
- providing custody and administration of crypto-assets on behalf of clients;
- exchanging crypto-assets for funds;
- exchanging crypto-assets for other crypto-assets;
- executing orders for crypto-assets on behalf of clients.
AS TWINO Investments is an investment firm licensed by Latvijas Banka. Its licence for the provision of investment services and ancillary investment services was issued on 31 August 2021.
The MiCA Regulation stipulates that financial market participants who have already received a licence from Latvijas Banka for the provision of financial services are eligible to obtain an authorisation to offer certain types of crypto-asset services.
